DETMER - C RANGE

Introduction

The DETMER-C range is a co-polymers range of acrylic acid and maleic acid anhydride, in the form of aqueous solution. They are clear or slightly cloudy, colourless to yellowish liquid at room temperature. They provide added value to cleaning products that include anti-precipitation, crystal distortion, and particle suspension (anti-redeposition).

Characteristics & Benefits 

  • Enhanced control of insoluble scale formation from Ca2+ & Mg2+ ions, helps in water softening up to 600 ppm.

  • Maintains fabric whiteness over multiple wash cycles, due to anti-redepo- sition & suspension of particulates.

  • Reduction of crystal growth.

  • Helps in reducing the left over water spots on steel & glassware utensils upon cleaning.

  • Reduced inorganic filming and organic food soil deposition.
    Acts as a processing aid for powder detergents to reduce slurry viscosity.

Unique Properties

Anti-encrustation

Detmer-C will increase solubility of precipitating salts by the baseline. This reduces the precipitation of inorganic salts in water (carbonates, sulfates of Ca and Mg) which will otherwise deposit onto fabrics and give rise to encrustation and greying.

Anti-redeposition

Detmer-C will keep insoluble or partly insoluble builders (such as zeolite or layered silicate) uniformly suspended in water thereby prevent them from settling on fabrics and preventing soil redeposition on clothes.

Dispersing properties

Detmer-C will help in the removal of previously formed protein based stains on cloth by keeping the protein particles suspended in water.

Processing aids

Detmer-C will bring binding properties producing homogeneous and non-dusty detergent particles. It also helps in reducing slurry viscosity.

Anti-spotting

Detmer-C increases the solubility of precipitated salts & keeps builders uniformly suspended during washing- it further helps in better cleaning of steel & glassware utensils by not letting water droplets settle on the surface. Thus helping in anti- spotting.
